Working for you to find your mountain home
Bob grew up in Idaho and developed his love of all things mountain there. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1988 and soon found his way to Park City and the “life”. He worked in the food and beverage industry to support his skiing, biking and golfing habit and managed several Main St. bars and restaurants. Long time locals will remember the night he brought Jefferson Starship to Main St. at the legendary Black Pearl (now 350 Main), and he fondly recalls the night The Supremes had an impromptu jam session with his favorite reggae band. Hurricane Katrina gave him the opportunity to help the affected in New Orleans and put his background in Microsoft systems administration to work in Florida as a contract insurance adjuster for Allstate. Returning to the West he entered the oil and gas industry as a specialist in title research and due diligence projects and most recently worked on the Uinta Express Pipeline project. As part of that project he obtained his real estate license, and has found a way to merge all of his passions and talents with his love of Park City, and to share all that the “life” has to offer at High Country Properties.
Tim Whetsel with the HCP Team helped me find a great property at the right price. His knowledge of Summit County was extensive and extremely helpful. When the financing started to fall apart because of the unique location, Tim was right there to make sure I had all the resources I needed to set things straight again.
My husband and I were looking for retirement property in the Midway, Utah area. We relied on Chad for his advice since we are currently living in Memphis, Tennessee. He spent several days with me when I visited Utah, showing me close to sixty properties (we were only interested in land to later build a home on). During the negotiation process and due diligence process, Chad answered countless emails and texts from us. In the end, we bought the property and look forward to spending …
I was very impressed with High Country Properties, Their team knows the Summit County and Wasatch County area very well. They are focused on finding you the right property and not just trying to make a sale
Bought a house in Midway, Ut. using Timothy he did some major back and forth between us and the seller and we got a great deal(56,000 down from asking which is unheard of)thanks to his efforts. I would use him again except he found us the right house first! Thank you Timothy.
I did not know anyone on their team but was satisfied with my experience. Gene listened well in order to KNOW what I was looking for and we did not waste any time. He is efficient and responds quickly. Overall a good experience.
Gene was great and made everything nice and easy.
Tim was my agent and did a great job helping me find and get the lot I really wanted. He had all the patience I needed and knows the area really well. Very responsive, handled my extreme demand for dotting all the “i”s and crossing all the “t”s very well. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The only reason I couldn’t rate his negotiating skills higher is because none of the sellers in the area I targeted were interested in compromising, although he did get me the most important …
Jonathan Mueller provided great assistance in showing us a number of cabins and assisting us with buying a cabin. He is very knowledgeable regarding recreational property in the Park City area.
When I was searching for a property, I sent out quite a few info requests. Gene got back to me first. He also provided me with more info than others did, and actually went to the property immediately to get physical descriptions. That sold me! He was always professional and helpful. In the end, he negotiated a nice credit for fixes. I am very happy with this transaction and thank the whole HCP team!!
Jeff patiently helped us look for a few years for a home in Park City, and helped us even define what we were looking for. The fact that he has been active in real estate in the area for many years showed. We would strongly recommend Jeff.
